Everything you need to know.

Getting Started with Nurie

Nurie is an at-home urine analysis kit and mobile app that helps you monitor key health biomarkers daily. Just dip the test strip, scan it with your phone, and get instant insights into your hydration, metabolism, kidney and liver health, immunity, and more.

Dip the FDA-cleared, CLIA-waived test strip in your urine, then use the Nurie app to scan the strip. Our AI-powered engine interprets the results and tracks your trends over time.

You’ll need a Nurie test kit and the Nurie app, available for iOS and Android. Each kit comes with everything you need to start testing right away.

Why Urinalysis Matters

Your urine contains a wealth of information about your body's internal state. Daily testing helps you spot trends, catch early warning signs, and fine-tune your nutrition, hydration, and lifestyle choices. Nurie helps you monitor ketones, hydration, liver function, kidney function, urinary tract health, immune response (white blood cells), and pH balance—all from a quick urine test.

Urine testing is non-invasive, fast, and reflects real-time physiological changes. It's especially useful for hydration, metabolic, and kidney-related markers that fluctuate throughout the day.

Yes! Tracking hydration, ketone levels, and pH can help optimize endurance, recovery, and muscle preservation. Knowing when you're off balance gives you a chance to recalibrate before it affects performance.

We recommend daily testing, ideally first thing in the morning, to get consistent baseline data. However, even 2–3 times a week can offer valuable trends over time.

Nurie test strips are FDA-cleared and CLIA-waived, which means they meet rigorous standards for safety, accuracy, and usability at home.

Yes. The core technology is based on the same multi-parameter dipsticks used in clinical settings, but optimized for at-home use and paired with our smart app.

Health Metrics Explained

Nurie tests for 10+ biomarkers, including hydration (specific gravity), ketones, pH, protein, bilirubin (liver), leukocytes (immune response), nitrites (UTIs), glucose, blood, and urobilinogen (liver function).

Ketones indicate whether your body is burning fat for fuel. This is useful for low-carb or intermittent fasting regimens, as well as endurance athletes managing energy levels.

Urine specific gravity gives you real-time feedback on your hydration status, helping you avoid dehydration or overhydration and stay in your performance zone.

Nurie detects white blood cells and nitrites, which are key indicators of urinary tract infections. If elevated, the app will notify you to consult a healthcare provider.

Urine pH reflects your body’s acid-base balance. Chronic imbalance can impact muscle recovery, inflammation, and kidney health. Nurie helps you spot trends early.

Privacy & Safety

Absolutely. Nurie uses bank-grade encryption and never shares your data without your explicit permission. You’re in full control of your health information.

Yes. You can export your data as a report from the app and share it with your healthcare provider to aid in diagnosis or ongoing care.
